Hello From Missouri! and stocks.
So Relaxing...
Out in the middle of no where Missouri.. Splitting some wood, and just generally relaxing.
So I went to the grocery store, a Hy-Vee for you Iowa natives out there...
I was looking around in the beer cooler, and in the very very back, next to a single bottle of Chimay, I found three 6-packs of Hoegaarden... Nice
In other news, I note that Dell is going to start shipping with AMD... I look forward to seeing this reflected in AMD's stock price. At this rate I fully expect a return of 3x in 3 years from AMD. Had I done the same thing with AAPL, I would have gotten 7x... As it is I've ridden AAPL for double this year. They always say invest in the products you really like, and I concur... Pay no attention to my decision to buy SUNW, because I love Java.
Google, (Which I don't own) has doubled this year 200 to 400.. I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger at 300, and I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on that guy at 400. Do I see GOOG at 600 next year? Probably.
I rode NVDA for a quick buck this year to cover my losses from SUN.. They are historically a very noisy stock that lends itself well to short term gains. My strategy has been to buy after that one bit of bad news that snaps the price artificially low... Right now they are riding high on the impending console releases... But I keep watching.

Hindsight is awesome to use to mock people. Like how the movie Titanic made fun of those people who thought Picasso was dumb.
