Patterns

Personal Note:
I find it interesting that part of my job involves intuiting and recognizing repeating patterns before I've seen them.
It's easy to say : Hey, I've written this same piece of code 5 times now. Maybe I can create an abstraction to simplify and enable re-use. It's hard to predict where those patterns will be ahead of time, and harder still to not go down the rat hole of predicting patterns where they just won't be /useful.
