Glory Days

Jack Daniels:
Gold medals in 1905, 1913,1914,1915...
Where is the transition from relevancy to delusion? Certainly after 90 years it's time for more contemporary honors.

I refuse to scrobble

Sorry people, I've already allotted all the time I possibly can to blogging (which is sparse at best), and I'm afraid that there is just no time left in the day to scrobble.

First, bad name choice. No one is going to take you seriously with a name like that.
Second, I'm all for having new music, custom tailored to my tastes, delivered to me as if by magic, but these are the hard facts: If it's not automatic, and Apple didn't make it, then it's just not going to be relevant to anyone but a few obsessed webmonkeys that think they are cooking up the next Myspace.
While I'm on a rant here, lets take a look at the offering:

Here I'm thinking:

public class MyWebSensation
extends WebService
implements SocialNetworking, UserProfiles, etc etc etc

There must be a toolkit to knock these things out, that or every design meeting begins with: "Ok think Friendster but with..."
"Ok, yes what you just said, but with a network of friends."
