Generics are a mistake

I had the same thoughts after reading the syntax for generics... This is not my beautiful Java.
I guess the idea here is that we want our collections to be typed... I would guess I run in to a type cast exception once or twice while writing a new program... It's really not an issue.

Adult Amusement Rides

After Wilson reminded me that the greatest part of Waterworld was Dennis Hopper riding around in a convertable on an oil tanker, throwing out cigarettes... I thought:

Man I would like to be able to do that... and I bet other people would too..

Sure you can go to Disney World and fly through space mountain and robo-Michael Jackson will grab his crotch and shoot laser beams out of his eyes, but... where's _my_ ride? Where are the rides for the truely perverse human beings?

Probably for the best tho, it would probably never live up to my expectations.
